Set in the 1990s,
Chen Yi and Miao Jing first meet through the friendship between their parents.
What begins as hostility from Chen Yi gradually transforms into trust after

Chen Yi loses his father, while Miao Jing's mother mysteriously disappears.

Years later in college,
Miao Jing bravely confesses her feelings, but Chen Yi becomes entangled in an
arson investigation as a crucial witness. To protect her, he pushes her away
and persuades her to leave Tengcheng while assisting the police in bringing
the real suspect to justice.
After many years apart,
Chen Yi now runs a billiard hall, while Miao Jing returns to Tengcheng to
audit Good Luck Logistics. Their unexpected reunion reopens old memories,
unresolved emotions, and the possibility of a new beginning.
